Pier under construction or pier in the process of being decommissioned? That’s a very placid sea, far calmer than we usually get up here.

It’s the West Pier that was destroyed by fire. That’s the last bit that’s left. Also that’s the only time the sea’s been like that for a month!

It was yesterday – it’s yucky again today – but yes we had a lovely day. Baby is with me in her buggy, I shot it over the top of her with my phone. Had to put it on the blog as it’s the nicest day out we’ve had for a while

It’s a great place isn’t it? I was born in Brighton too and though we moved abroad for a bit I gravitated right back to it when we came home to England.
